My Sister Sent Me Some Documents via FedEx - Here is Her Review of FedEx' Service

She's quite amusing, that sister of mine!

So I sent Michele to Kinkos to overnight those letters via FedEx with a 20. and asked that she get me mochas at Caribou with all that remained. Looking forward to my mochas, I immediately inquired as to their whereabouts upon her return 16,000 hours later. Much to my dismay, she had none. None, I say. Because apparently 2 standard sized envelopes originally mailed via the USPS and successfully delivered, at what I can only guess was approximately .42 or whatever normal stamps are going for these days,(and how come there's no cent sign on this keyboard?), becomes a $25.12 charge once you put it into an envelope bearing the FedEx logo and asking said company to deliver it by tomorrow.

I'm deeply offended and I don't have my mochas.

The only acceptable explanation I could come up with is that FedEx must put much more care into their envelope deliveries than everyone else on the planet. As we speak, please know that Fabrices green card is safely cocooned amid silks and the softest of goose down, catered to by the finest of Valets, in what I'm sure is a temperature controlled and bomb safe environment. It may have been lined in platinum and delivered in the am versus the pm, but alas, Michele did not have the additional $2. for that upgrade.

$25.12....is still highway robbery. They should be ashamed. Do you think your parcel is the only one aboard that transport?

I'm shocked and terribly disturbed. It is possible that I will be permanently scarred by this egregious affront to my good sense and personal finances.

Furthermore, I believe whomever first spelled 'egregious', spelled it wrong.
