Talk About Bad Holidays

Things here are going from bad to worse. While my son was here, he was totally wasted and out of control. Morgan is barely speaking to me, we are nearly out of money, as Fabrice's settlement check hasn't come, and his plan is to take Morgan to the airport for her flight and abandon me here with no place to go, no job, and no way to pay for the hotel. Merry Christmas to me.

His aggression is entirely verbal, but I am constantly barraged by criticism, put-downs, blame games etc. I'd rather be beaten, as regularly as I am criticized. At least I would have visible signs of his hatred and aggression to prove that this isn't all in my mind.

My lucky daughter gets to witness this, and is, of course, angry with me for everything that is happening.

You don't happen to have any good news on your side of the world, do you?

I have a temp job in the works, and have been virtually assured that I will be hired back on at ......; "it's just a matter of time." I just don't know how to survive until that "time" comes.

Any advice? And don't chastise me for seeking out drama in my life. This time around, it really ISN'T me.
