Here is the absolutely lovely response I got from one of my two beautiful sisters. Unfortunately, she is not the President.

WHAT THE HELL?! Has anyone responded to your letter/e-mail? If they know what's good for them, they'd better fix this bullshit and quick!! I don't think the US needs any more negitive press then they manage to get independent of jerking some poor foreign guy, (with limited English) around. They should be ashamed! I know I am right now! How can they do this to Fabrice, and still look at themselves in the mirror? This is absolutely outragous!

I'm really sorry you two are going through this! Especially Fabrice! He must be completely frustrated, disappointed, and totally scared right now! How cruel can they be? Don't they realize how difficult this transition was in and of itself? How would they feel in his position? HOW CAN THEY DO THIS?! There must be some kind of protection for people like Fabrice in order to keep this from happening! The US government can't sanction this, and if they are/do, something must be done! What has the French consulate said? (excuse any spelling mistakes please, too tired to spell or check the dictionary) They can't get away with this, can they?
