The UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Me!
The World Heritage List and Me
Now, in all honesty, I am not a whole heck of a lot of a traveler. I HATE to fly. I don’t particularly love to drive, and being a passenger in a car makes me nervous. I am also EXTREMELY afraid. In general. But, specifically, of speed, and heights. To date, my preferred methods of travel are foot, horse, and canoe. None of which could be called the briskest travel method out there.
That said, and being duly considered in all its seriousness, I have decided to somehow see as many of UNESCO’s World Heritage sites as I can, in my lifetime (since seeing them in someone else’s lifetime might prove much less meaningful for me).
So, of the current 851 possibilities, I have seen the following, constituting 21 of the possible 851. I have a ways to go in my trek. However, since I visited most of these places prior to my decision to seek out the World Heritage sites, I suppose it isn’t that bad! Only 830 more places to visit! I’d better live along time!
