My Father's Response to My Letter

This is what my ever-so loving, enlightened father, had to say to me.
Honestly, I was surprised that he responded at all.
Unfortunately, he lived down to my expectations.
This is the last I heard from him.
It was on March 26 of this year.

What nerve you have!

Who do you think you are blaming others--and here, me in particular of
course--for yor outrageous,immoral behavior throughout your life.

Why did you then ask me to take M, if I'm so evil. I guess I should
feel priviledged for agreeing to take on this responsibility with D.
Don't you think I must again be responsible for his latest behavior?

And why have you spent $4000. on M (if you really did, of course)?
Totally contrary to what D and I, as well as M, and M, and
YOU, had agreed would be best for him. But I guess that does not matter to
you in your ME, ME, ME world.

Who the hell are you to characterize me the way you do now, and have done
again and again over the years. Fortunately, others have observed me much
closer than you and seen that the stories you make up about me do not
correspond to your lies. I'm sure your new husband must have heard an
earfull. How long before he also becomes an evil, abusive person?

Alcoholic?
My brother and father were alcoholics. Why do you think you can define me
so, and continue to disparage me. Again, melodramatic claptrap--another
result of your self-righteous use of cliché formulas of your "American"
psycho babble?

I do not have access to a computer now. I thought you had matured enough
beyond your childish illusions of how I (and others) can be so bad, and
YOU so GOOD. Works well in your black and white, American-clichéed world.
More good excuses to justify your horrendous behavior. So easy to blame
others for your problems, isn't it? Enough. No point continuing!
